This china, or semi-porcelain, ironstone bowl is hand-decorated with a wild-flowers design in many different colors. The edge is fluted and decorated with gold that is somewhat worn. The bowl is an excellent size, 11" square X 2" deep, for serving potatoes or vegetables. It has an impressed mark on the bottom indicating a German maker. The bowl is around 100 years old and is in excellent condition. The look of this bowl is rather different than that of English or French porcelain; it is a bit more unusual.
