This beautiful, bright white ironstone china platter is decorated with a navy blue underglaze design with "flowing." The design is an abstract floral one with Art Nouveau elements. The company of manufacture is Sampson Hancock & Sons of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The mark used on the platter was used between 1906 and 1912. The platter is in remarkably good original condition. It measures 15" X 18 1/2" X 1 1/2" deep. The lip is 3" wide.
