Sterling Silver and Turquoise Navaho Pin

This old sterling silver pin features a lovely flat oval Colorado turquoise stone that measures 3/8" X 3/4" and is bezel-set. The maker was Navaho but the designer was Fred Harvey, the hotel magnate. The pin dates from around the time of World War II. Pieces such as this were sold in the hotel gift shops across the Southwest. It measures 3" long X 1" wide and weighs .55 oz. The Navaho designs and workmanship on this pin are quite attractive.
