This footed trinket box dates from the 1920's and is made of Celluloid, a type of plastic. This box is ivory colored with an applied decoration of faint striations that simulates ivory. This is called "French Ivory." This box has a hinged lid. The well is finished with a soft blue velveteen lining. The box is in fine original condition; there is a little damage to the hinge, which does not affect workability, and a small dark spot on the lid. The turned feet are intact. The box measures 6'" X 4" X 2 1/8" high. There are no marks.
