Chinese Sterling Silver Enamel and Rare CARVED Amethyst Bracelet

This bracelet can be contrasted with other Chinese link bracelets we have listed or have sold recently. It is different in several ways.

This one is not gold washed - silver throughout. It has rare carved amethyst stones. It is rare to find amethyst carved and set into jewelry. Most often it is found cabochon or in a polished nugget form. Here it is carved in a floral design.

The surrounding enamel work is in shades of medium to cobalt blue with touches of mauve/purple to compliment the amethyst stones. Carved amethyst is often categorized as a 'hardstone'.

The bracelet sports a tongue and groove box clasp which is very secure. Additionally, there is a safety chain which was purchased detached and which was left that way for purposes of the photography. If you wish to receive it attached, let me know and we will do that before shipping.

The bracelet measures 7 1/8" fully opened and will fit an 'average' wrist very comfortable. It is 1" at the widest and sits 1/2" above the wrist.

On the tongue end of the clasp it is marked "Silver China" and it tests for at least 925/1000 silver (sterling grade).
