Rare Antique Royal Doulton Persian Chintz Pattern Plate with Parrots

To the best of my knowledge, Royal Doulton's Persian pattern (D3550) is the earliest of all chintz patterns. Fortunately for us this bears a registration mark allowing us to definitively date its manufacture to a specific time period - 1912 to 1913. Thus officially making it a 100 year old antique.

Another very unique thing about this pattern is that it features pairs of parrots (budgies, I think) giving it another level of charm and attractiveness.

This green rimmed, multi-sided dinner-sized plate measures 10 3/8" in diameter and is in excellent condition. Most earthenware chintz plates craze with age, but this has not - probably a testimony to Royal Doulton's superior manufacturing prowess!
