Fine Chinese Carving in Angel Skin Coral of Bearded Elder
Not sure of the identity of this gent, but whoever he is, he has been reverently and artfully carved out of angel skin coral (or is it 'angelskin'?).

The coral is in the palest shade of rosy pink to palest pink. His kimono and hooded headdress are carved with ornamental designs.
Excellent condition.
The sculpture measures 3 1/2" high x 2 1/2" wide. Flat bottom provides a solid base for displaying.
The coral weighs 69.7 gms which is a nice hefty weight (about 3 1/2 ounces).
