Brilliant Royal Blue Chinese Silk Embroidered Robe or Kimono with Pockets - Birds, Chrysanthemums

How gorgeous this would be with a coordinated shell under it, worn open over a sexy pair of slacks and stiletto heels! The perfect spring/summer cover-up or the star of a red-carpet event.

The 8 detail photos really show off the all-over embroidery. The embroidery features birds, spider chrysanthemums, roses, and prunus blossoms. There are at least 3 different styles of birds and over 8 of them. All is satin stitched and all hand-done. It is in superb condition and has been dry cleaned. No signs of wear. No odors and no loose seams.

This fabulous supple silk robe is fully lined in solid blue gossamer silk. It drapes beautifully and feels great to the touch. Pockets too!

A true work of art!

The measurements are approx. It is 38" long. This robe has set-in sleeve which measure 17" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam and 19" from armpit seam to armpit seam. The sleeves measure 22" long. The narrow sleeves taper from 9" at shoulder to 6 1/4" at wrist. Construction is meticulous as is the embroidery and all other stitchery.

The label says Made in China by Plum Blossom and a smaller label says 36 (size, we assume). We think this is equivalent to an American size 8-10 but please gage size by the measurements and not the label.
