This very attractive bowl measures 10 3/8" in diameter and it measures 2 3/4" high.
The spectacularly vivid colors - fuschia - hot pink, makes this bowl a real standout. The bright gold edging and trim throughout contrasts brilliantly with the deep fuschia color. The slightly flared rim features 4 pierced areas. The center design looks like a courting scene with a woman holding a garland of flowers while her paramour takes a snooze (with his armor on no less!). The scene is transfer printed - not handpainted.
The exterior of the bowl is solid, pure white.
This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. It is from Austria, late 1891 - 1918 by Victoria of Carlsbad.
