Rowland and Marsellus are considered the best of the best of the Staffordshire manufacturer's of export blue and white plates aimed at depicted American landmarks or important people. This is one of those.

It measures 10" in diameter and stands 1 1/8" above the table. As you can see, it features landmarks around the Albany area in upstate New York.
The plate is in excellent antique condition with overall crazing typical of earthenware plates. Also, we highlighted with a black star, a tiny flea bite or glaze pop on the rim that is not visible from the front.
This plates dates from 1860-1900.
