Porcelain Cabinet Figure of Putti Blowing a Horn Trumpet or Bugle

This scantily clad putti with the most adorable chubby knees, is holding and playing a horn of some sort - looks most like a bugle to us!

He stands a mere 3 3/4" high and is in excellent condition. He has been modelled in the Dresden Meissen tradition but we cannot identify the maker. We attribute it to having been made in Germany. Because we cannot identify the maker we have priced him very, very low.

There is a hallmark on the base - blue underglaze - but it is blurry and unreadable. It appears to be a crown over some letter and the country name is probably alongside. We date this piece to late 1800s, early 1900s.
