Enamel on Sterling Brooch and Earring Set - Orchid - 3 3/4"

This is an interesting enamel on sterling set of unknown origins. It is certainly vintage - probably ca. 1930-50. It is marked sterling on the reverse as well on the screw back tops. It is also studded with marcasites throughout the brooch and earrings.

The pin measures 3 3/4" long x 1 1/16" wide. The earrings are 1 1/4" x 1 1/16".

The flowers are white enamel with shaded centers of kelly green. The tarnished sterling provides a good dark gray contrast and the marcasites a bit of sparkle. The earrings are in excellent condition. The pin is in very, very good condition with two spots of missing enamel (two small specks easily seen on photo).
