Chinese Jade Plaque Pendant with Archaistic Taoist Mask Motifs

This unusual antique jade plaque features a very unusual outer perimeter shape and archaistic, Taoist motifs.

The plaque has a hole for hanging on the top. It measures approx. 3 1/4" x 1 3/8" and 1/4" thick. The jade color is a mottled celadon. From one side (both sides have the same incised decoration and carving) there are white occlusions (see photos please) which are much less noticeable from the other side. Held up to the light, it is very translucent.

It dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) - probably late 1800s.
