This teapot was made in 1888 and has survived in superb condition. It is doubtful it was ever used based on the pristine white color of the interior of the teapot. This teapot is made from eggshell thin porcelain.
The handpainted floral motifs are outlined in the vibrant gold that the company is known to use. The handle, knob, and spout are done in a matte deep gold, almost bronze finish.
The pretty flowers and foliage are pink on one side and blue on the other. Almost like having two for the price of one! Periodically change the side you display and you will a totally unique view!
The pot, from handle edge to spout tip measures 7 1/2" and is 6" high.
