Spectacular Large Retro 18K & Multi Gemstone Bouquet Brooch/Pin

Oh my! This one would become part of my permanent jewelry collection if only I still wore the appropriate clothing to suit it!

It is very large at 2 7/8" x 1 3/4" and of solid 18k yellow gold and platinum.

The lovely flower buds are encrusted with emeralds, rubies, and diamond centers. The diamond studded bow ties the stems together and are set in platinum. Probably made in the 1940s to 50s.

The last photo is the same as the first only lightened to try to make the background white and to show up the stones more. You can click on any of the photos to see very large, zoomable views.

It weighs in at a hefty 29.9 grams. This would make a lovely gift for yourself or your antique jewelry buff sweetheart!
