Antique Victorian Gilt Metal Casket with Figural 3-D Roses

This lovely footed casket features raised designwork of scrolls, rosebuds, and roses. Even the handle on the top lid is a figural representation of a branch complete with thorns, leaves, a rose, and a rosebud. The lid is hinged.

Conditon is excellent.

The gilding is worn - mostly on high spots which is to be expected. The casket measures 6" x 5" x 4". The interior is quite roomy. A perfect place to store your keepsakes!
