Raphael Tuck 1912 Halloween Postcard

This postmarked card from 1912 (postmarked from Manchester, NH) is #188 of the Hallowe'en Series by Tuck & Sons.

This card features a young boy and girl totally startled by an equally startled black cat atop a smiling jack o'lantern. The saying is, "For luck! Don't say "Scat!" to the black cat on Hallowe'en!

Very charming portrayal of the children. Bright, clear colors. Postmark ink bleed through over the "Don't say" area. Extremely slight corner rounding.
