14th Blue Book Dolls & Value by Jan Foulke

As the cover screams, this is a #1 Best Seller! Here is a reviewer's comment: "Where else have you seen a Price Guide that goes up in value!! For years the most quoted price guide on dolls; this pocket sized value guide has now expanded to include not only antique bisque dolls but also the "vintage" composition and hard plastic dolls of the 40's and 50's and even some current artist dolls. Barbie is even there!!"

Here are quotes from the back cover:

"The first, favorite, and most trusted, price guide to all types of dolls is even more colorful and reader-friendly in its 14th edition. It is organized into an Antique section which covers the manufacturers of the bisque, china, wax, wood, cloth, and papier-mache dolls of the 19th and early 20th century and a Modern section which covers the makers of composition, hard plastic, vinyl, artists' dolls and more."

There are over 560 photographs (photos by Howard Foulke). It was published in 1999.

A few of the makers represented are Louis Amberg, Georgene Averill, Bahr & Proschild, Bru, Bye-Lo, Heubach, Jumeau, Kestner, Marseille and all the "modern" ones.

This 1999 edition is a "must have" for your doll book library. Please note that every few years the Foulke's have produced another Blue Book (I think they're up to their 17th edition) but each one covers different examples and each becomes collectible in its own right! This edition is no exception. If you don't already have it, you will be most grateful to be able to add it to your collection.
