Enamel on Sterling Silver Made in Germany Fantasy Dog
One of the designs done in a more humourous vain, this "fantasy" dog has quite a mustache and funny expression. His haunches and ears are accented with tiny, sparkling marcasites. Marked "Sterling silver" and Germany on the reverse, it is consistent with Alice Caviness designs of the 1940's. Please make sure to see the many other enamels of this type that I have listed. This one is in excellent condition and measures 1 5/8" high. One of the heaviest in terms of weight (12.9 gms - just to give you an idea).
