This TICKLETOES baby doll is 16" tall was made by IDEAl between 1931-1939 and is considered to be a transitional doll. She has composition head that can turn to the sides, stationary tin green eyes. open mouth the two front baby teeth have moved inside the head, they can be easily brought out, since the head can be separated from the cloth body and put back. Her legs are also composition but not her arms that are of rubber. In this one it needs some cleaning, they have also have deteriorated somewhat but still they look fine and are original to the doll. The crier is present but is not working any more. Her hair is molded and blond, it shows some scratches due to age and play. The great thing about this doll is that is has NO crazing the composition parts are very good, only a little split on one eye the same one that has a scratch line and a very small crack on the back of one leg. Great Doll to be restored or redressed... It is marked on the back of the neck with the IDEAl diamond Logo, the word Ideal inside the diamond and below letter O and A.
