Vintage Spanish Flamenco Embroidered Post Card
This is a vintage 6" x 4" Post Card made in Spain in the 1960's (they are not made anymore). It is machine embroidered and hand-made. It represents the Flamenco Dance and it is labeled at the bottom as; 'BAILE FLAMENCO'. The Flamenco girl dancer's dress is machine embroidered in pink and the bottom section of the dress is made in tangerine fabric with black lace. On the back a scene from the 'FERIA DE SEVILLA' that takes place every year in Seville after the Roman Catholic Holy Week Celebration.
They were a popular collectible back then.
On the back is written in English, French, German and Spanish from factory and states were it is made with address and phone number in Madrid. Excellent condition!
