Effanbee 'ALICE LEE' Big Composition Mama Doll 1920's

This is 23" tall ALICE LEE made by Effanbee in the 1920's. She is a composition shoulder plate head, Arms and Legs Mama doll, she has its original cloth body, in great condition! She is jointed at the shoulders and has stitched hip joints. She is pictured on pg. 166 of the Mertz book, Composition Dolls, Vol. II. Her deep tin green sleep eyes work perfectly, she has real eyelashes and one stroke eyebrows, Her thick human hair wig is over a molded hair head. She is clearly marked EFFANBEE on the back of her shoulder plate and on her arms. Her sister is 20" Betty Lee. Her face colors are great, fresh and crisp like the first day.

She wears original under body suit, and replacement beautiful pink dress and white socks.

Her composition is perfect at the legs, arms and only the shoulder plate and under the chin is has a little bit of very tight and stable crazing. You will have to see her under the natural light to perceive it. The rest of the face is free of crazing. A little line mark at one of her eyes.

She is beautiful, the condition is excellent considering her 90 years old of life.
