25" Very Old 'AM DOLL' Composition Advertising Doll

This is a great doll with a lot of history on her. She was made during the 1920's and were offered by the bread, shoes and other companies to the Mom's for the Holidays to make their shopping from Christmas a little easier! She is a beautiful doll that is almost intact as when she was given away 90 years ago. Her Composition head and face is close to perfect, great face colors and red lips, her decal blue eyes are in great condition, her brown eyebrows too. Her hair is molded and really curly of an orange blond color, she only shows very light crazing on her cheeks, really seen under a spot light. Her arms are also composition, that hang from round metal pieces, hooks/nails. Legs bend to the waist so she could seat and she has permanent fabric black boots. Her body is all cloth filled with straw, she keeps her original white undies. She wears replacement clothes that makes her look very cute. It is marked embossed on the back shoulder plate as; ' AM DOLL', a circle with a D inside. Great for the serious doll collector. She is very primitive but very beautiful too!
