Lomonosov Russian Porcelain Birds
This very pretty set of twin birds or pigeons made by The Lomonosov Factory in Russia. This one is the oldest porcelain factory in existence founded by Catherine the Great to
fulfill her orders for her Royal Palace. Many of this unique creations can be seen today at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
These birds have a unique colors over a high quality white china Russian porcelain background. Lomonosov pieces are all hand-made and painted, so no one looks the same as the other. They are also made in small quantities, they are never and will never be mass produced.
They are each 3" long by 2 1/2" tall,
and are marked on the bottom with the Lomonosov factory logo.
The condition is excellent!
