Stunning Sowerby Ice Blue Glass Candlesticks Set 1920-1930

Old and Beautiful British Glass from the 1920-1930 are this set of Twin Ice Blue Candlestick holders. The PATTERN NO. 2552 BUTTERFLY & DAFFODIL This Set is Sowerby, It shows in Ice Blue in plate #43 in Sheilagh Murray's Peacock and the Lions. It was first made in 1922 as Sowerby's Tyneside Glass. "... to compete with all opposition at home and abroad".

Wonderful difficult to get Ice Blue Color, They are Exquisite Butterflies in these 2 candlesticks!

They used to give this sets away for Wedding gifts back in the 1920's in England.

Candlestick set from England dating to the 1930's. The design is made up of butterflies and flowers. Candle holders are 4" diameter at the base, stand 3" tall. There are flowers on the base and butterfly wings on each side of the top. 2.5". A very nice set! Butterfly Glass Tray matching this candlesticks are listed separately.
