Alfred Meakin 1974 Limited Edition Mother's Day Plate
This item is a 1974 Mother's Day collector plate made by Alfred Meakin of England. The plate is 7 3/4" in diameter by 5/8" deep. The decoration is based on a design by Kate Greenway the children's illustrator. The decoration depicts two children in Victorian costume fishing off the side of an arched bridge. There is a road leading to a windmill on the plates left with a tree on the plates right side. The item is back marked with the Alfred Meakin name and other information about the plate.
