Owens Pottery Standard Glaze Slip Decorated Vase
This item is a standard glazed vase with a slip decoration bottom marked with a flaming torch with a banner through it that reads, "Owens Pottery". The vase is 8 1/2" tall, 1 1/4" across the top opening, 3" at it's widest body diameter, by 3" across the foot. The dark brown background has flower buds with six sided leaves and trailing tendrils as decoration done with slip, and the bottom has clear glaze. The piece has uniform crazing consistent with age, nut there are no chips, hairlines, flea bites, or repairs. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to make an offer.
