Schmid 1983 First Edition Ornament "Hark The Herald"
This item is a 1983 first edition ornament from Schmid titled, "Hark the Herald", in original issue box and plastic protective cover. The ornament is 4 1/2" tall, 1 7/8" across the figures elbows, 1 1/2" front to back, by 1 7/8" across the round foot. The young boy is wearing a red kerchief at his neck, green jacket, brown short pants, light blue socks, and brown boots, and he has a trumpet under one arm. The bottom is marked, "A reproduction of a statuette designed by Berta Hummel, 1983 First edition, Schmid" with a gold and black foil label. The ornament is mint in box with no blemishes of any type.
