This item is the 1968 Christmas plate from Royal Copenhagen titled, "The Last Umiak". The plate is 7 1/4" in diameter by 3/4" deep and is decorated in the traditional blue and white colors. The central decoration is a husky standing on shore watching a boat row out through the channel on a hunt. with snow covered mountains in the background. The piece is back marked with a crown inside "Royal Copenhagen" with "Denmark" and three wavy blue lines below it. The text reads, "Kai Lange, Den Sidste Konebad, The Last Umiak".
