Vintage 1950s VLV Sheer Sea Green Nylon Menswear Loop Summer Shirt XL
This measures:
46" chest
18 1/2" shoulder
28" Length
6 1/2" from neck point to shoulder point
8 1/2" sleeve
this translates to a contemporary L to XL size; we ask that you please compare our measurements to the measurements of a comfortable shirt of your own to be sure of sizing, thank you!
This is freshly laundered and ready to wear; the only issue is a snag on the left chest pocket, with a couple of pulled threads also along the center front between the button holes and edge ~ they would be easy to pull back out ~ we simply have not taken the extra time to do so.
These loop shirts with the larger collar like this were popular in the late 1940s, as well ~ this could date a bit earlier than the 50s.

my dad wore these kind of comfortable lightweight shirts in the summertime to our very fun family reunions and picnics back in the 50s and 60s ~ always with a fresh white t-shirt or undershirt, sometimes buttoned up, sometimes open.
