Vintage 1950s Black Velour Sculpted Hat with Satin Edging
The top side is super soft; we thought it was velvet, but it is marked "Genuine Imported Velour" "made in Italy".
This is a lovely sculpted shape, and the entire edge is trimmed with black satin. Absolutely elegant.
Estimated 1950s vintage, maybe as late as the 60s. We've lightened the photos to show details better, as this is a dark, rich shade of black.
The only flaw, if it be one, would be that there are pin marks through the label in the center back, obviously where hat pins were pushed through.
