The skirt is cut on the bias, for a lovely, flattering fit.
The front bodice pockets are also cut on the bias, while the back yoke, sleeve hems and the panel facing for the side seam button placket have all been cut on the cross grain for a great contrasting appearance.
The sleeve caps are tucked, which add volume and width; there are not shoulder pads in this.
This was custom sewn in the 1970s, when 1940s influences (the wide shoulders, bias cut skirts) were the rage.
We've shown it with a navy blue belt; that is not included.
Freshly laundered, in excellent condition, with no flaws: ready to wear.
