Here is a Black Americana postcard copyrighted in 1896 by F. L. Howe, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, part of series No. 1098 "Dixie Land", and entitled "the mule race at coonville" "here comes de winner". This postally unused postcard with undivided back depicts a group of black boys cheering on a mule. The postcard is in excellent condition with the exception of light corner fraying, light discoloration to the back, and what looks like residue on the back perhaps left over from being in an album.
