1906 Moodus Connecticut Postcard T.R.Spencer Destroyed By Fire 1906

Here is a scarce postcard of the T.R. Spencer store in Moodus Connecticut Which burnt on 1/28/1906 along with most of the center of Moodus. The card is postmarked March 26, 1906 (less than 2 months after the big fire) and the sender of the postcard indicates to her friend Edith, The T. R. Spencer store was one of the stores burnt in the fire. A very visual reminder of the tragedy! The card is in very good condition with some corner fraying and light discoloration
