1950s Chicago Electric Red Beater Mixer 24 Ounce Six Sided Owens Illinois Glass Base WORKS

Here is a 1950s Chicago Electric red colored electric beater/mixer with a screw on six sided jar with graduation marks, in pints, ounces, or cups made by the Owens Illinois Glass Co. as shown by the mark on the bottom. The textured bottom of the jar also has the #34-111. The metal handle has the following: (Chicago Electric MFG. Co, 110-120 volts, 50-60 cycle. A.C. only, type AV, 9 amp, made in U. S. A.)). The beater/mixer measures approx. 8 1/2" tall to top of handle, approx. 5" across, and weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces. This beater does not appear to have been repainted and looks like its the original red color. The cord appears to be the original and is in good condition with no tears or fraying. The beater is in working condition, although the new owner may want to add a few drops of oil to the hole in the top which says "oil". The piece is actually in excellent condition for its age with the exception of some scratches to the motor lid, surface wear, light rust to the handle, a slight ding which can only be seen when lid is off jar.
