Extremely Scarce EAPG Early American Pattern Glass New England Pineapple Flint Covered Sugar Bowl

Here is a rarely seen flint EAPG covered pedestal sugar bowl in the "new england pineapple" pattern, AKA loop & jewel. manufactured by New England Glass Co. Cambridge MA 1855-1870. The sugar bowl measures approx. 7 1/2" tall to top of lid finial, 4 3/16" across the bowl. The bowl base is in excellent condition with light surface wear. The cover has chipping to the inner rim that fits into the bowl (see pictures) but in no way affects the way the cover fits, and is very difficult to see with cover in place.
