Incredible Vintage Petite Demitasse Cup & Saucer Hand Painted GOLD Chestnuts & Butterflies Swirled Fluting Scalloped Rims White Daisies

Here is a very stunning unmarked demitasse cup & saucer in a hand painted pattern of gold butterflies & gold chestnuts, with white daisies and green leaves. The cup is swirl fluted and both cup and saucer have gold scalloped rims. The cups background color is white fading to pink towards the base and the saucer is white fading to a light yellow towards the center. The cup measures 2" tall, 2 1/4" across, and the saucer 4 1/2" across. It is interesting to note, that although it doesn't detract from its beauty the cup is slightly out of round, an as mentioned earlier it does not have a company backstamp I would say that is is definitely in the style and the porcelain has the same delicate translucent quality as any fine Limoges piece that I've come across. this set is in excellent condition with only light gold loss and light surface wear.
