Here is an incredibly beautiful and extremely uncommon 13 1/4" bulbous bristol glass vase dating to the 1800s with large central victorian courting scene with a man playing the bagpipes and the woman carrying a basket of eggs. The scene is surrounded with a black border outline in gold with rose colored star decoration outlined in raised hand painted orange lines. Outside the black border are green handpainted fauna decoration with gold outlined pinwheels. The top half of this amazing specimen is a rose color fading to an off white color . The vase is approx 7 1/2" in diameter and quite simply I have never seen another like this. The vase is in excellent condition with the exception of surface wear and gold loss. Please pardon any camera glare. We are happy to accept lay-a-ways! We require a non-refundable 25% deposit within 10 days, and the balance to be paid in full within 30-60 days.
