1800s Hand Blown Brown Glass Jug Swirl Pattern Applied Handle Rough Pontil

Here is a unique and very beautiful hand blown glass jug / pitcher with an applied handle and a swirl pattern running through the glass. This jug has a roughened pontil and dates back to the 1800s. Unfortunately, the pictures do not do the piece justice. Please pardon any camera glare which may present a cloudiness to the bottom half of the jug--there is no cloudiness. The 4th picture looking down into the jug captures a good image of the swirl pattern. The jug measures approx. 8 1/4" to top of handle, 2 3/8" across the mouth which is not entirely concentric. This jug is in excellent condition with the exception of a few manufacturing blemishes which can only be seen when held up to a light. . We are happy to accept lay-a-ways!
