Here is a William Guerin Limoges France split center handle tray with hand painted butterflies, fireflies, three cameo water view scenes, cascading floral garlands, gold painted handle, and embossing on each end all on a mint green background (pix depict this tray as a lighter green than it actually is). The bottom of the tray has the same pattern minus the scenes. The company backstamp dates this tray from 1891-1900, but the artist signature "Maude M. Calton" has a date of '98 (1898). This tray measures approx. 10 1/2" long, 6 1/2" wide and is in excellent condition with the exception of slight gold loss, a tiny chip to the inner rim of the bottom resting ring (cannot be seen unless you turn the tray over and look on the inside of the inner rim----really quite insignificant see last pix 12:00-1:00 position ), and a slightly raised paint drip on a tiny section of rim opposite the handle (I can see areas where the artist used the same color paint. see last pix 5:00 position). We are happy to accept lay-a-ways! We require a non-refundable 25% deposit within 10 days, and the balance to be paid in full within 30-60 days.
