Gorgeous mens tie dating from the LATE 1940's to early 1950's this silk necktie was built for a man with style!

It is a beautiful silk, by Towncraft (J.C. Penny brand) De Luxe Cravat. This was the HIGH END of the Penny's branding for men's fashion.

Construction is wonderful. It is printed with an ELEGANT paisley design in dove gray and ivory on deep burgundy. Accents are in deep charcoal. It is simply beautiful. The lining is white silk.

It measures: 50 inches long and is 4 inches at the widest point.

Clean, fresh, lovely condition with strong fabric and brilliant color. No tears, seam weakness or significant signs of wear. One end of the lining has sticker residue.

I love this tie. It is so era specific and is so beautiful!
