1920s SILK Evening Gown Cocktail Dress Bust 36 Hand Made Flowers Lace

This dress is unworn and MAGNIFICENT! How wonderful to find it not only in such amazing condition, but in a size for a real woman. The bust 36, is almost unheard of size to find from the Roaring Twenties!

This one piece, sleeveless dress with side snap closing has wonderful hand made, silk ribbon, flowers. There is beautiful lace and a wide band at the hip that forms a huge SHOWY BOW. It is almost entirely hand sewn.

The very, smooth black silk is lightweight but, is not sheer. The hemline of the under layer is scalloped. The over skirt is made of INTRICATE, all over lace with a wide hem of sheer illusion.

The lace does not show up at all well in the pictures as it is a black on black fabric. Sheer illusion fabric falls below the scalloped hemline of the dress to give an ethereal accent.

The flowers and foliage are made of SUPERB, silk ribbon. The ribbon is beautifully crafted into blossoms, buds and foliage that wraps below the natural waistline.

These flowers are layers of finely pleated SILK ribbon. The foliage is done in shades of green. The buds are padded for dimension and the stems are wrapped and over lapped.

All of this floral display is done in shades of pink, gold, orange, purple and lavender. The flowers are, in a word, STUNNING! The wide band of fabric makes an impressive bow at the hip.

This is a wonderful gown. It is a fabulous size and in exceptional condition! It is completely wearable.

Bust up to 36, waist up to 30, hip up to 38, Length from shoulder to hem is 43 inches.
