Measurements: Bust 42, waist 40, hip 45. MORE Sizes are available in this design. Drop me a note if you need this pattern in a different size.
This is an unused, unprinted pattern by the New York Pattern company circa 1948.
One piece dress with choices to make it up for two completely different garments. Use the jewel neckline or shaped sweetheart neckline. There are double darts at the bodice waist line in front and single darts at the back bodice waistline.
There is a front button closure with a choice of closed placket or three buttons and tailored button holes. I love the wide belt with the bow as closure.
You have a choice of short set in sleeves with straight cut cuffs OR, long fitted sleeve (shown in pattern layout, but not on the envelope) OR, you can opt for 3/4 length, FULL bloused, push up style sleeves gathered to a winged cuff.
The skirt is attached to the bodice at the natural waist line. The two piece skirt is designed to hit well below the knee. This is a CLASSIC late 1940's silhouette.
