1930s Dress Size Large Vintage Sewing Pattern Bust 38

Rare to find a large size vintage sewing pattern for a beautiful dress from the mid 1930s. Bust 38, waist 33, hip 41. Uncut all original.

Featuring a one piece dress with a high neckline and small standing collar has a self fabric bow at the throat. The front yoke fits in a "V" at the bodice with soft gathering. The back neckline has small dart / gathering.

Bloused sleeves may be 3/4 length, push up style with a short cuff OR, they can be wrist length with blousing at the elbow and a LONG, fitted cuff. (my favorite)

The slightly flared skirt is cut to mid calf. The BACK of the skirt has darts below the belt line, for a smooth fit. Belt may be self fabric or purchased.

Use a fancy fabric for a cocktail / party dress or cotton voile or simple cotton for a day dress. Drafted by the Marian Martin mail order service for sewing patterns through newspapers during the Great Depression.

This original vintage pattern is UNCUT. Tissue pieces are in the original factory folds. Tissue pieces are unprinted and minty. All instructions are illustrated. Fabric requirements are on the instruction page.
