1940s Lingerie Vintage Sewing Pattern Bust 36 WWII Pajama Fashion

The top / jacket of the set is cut with a square inset yoke both front and back. It can be trimmed with lace. Choice of short PUFFED or sleeves that have a tuck at the cuff.

The neckline can be square or have a convertible collar. The bloused top closes with three or four buttons down the front.

The front of the blouse / top is gathered at the bottom of the yoke both front and back. By extending the length of the blouse by a few inches you could use this as a maternity blouse!

The trousers / pants have a waistband and side button closure. The pants have a loose straight cut.

You can make this a traditional pajama set OR use the top for a bed jacket. Fun set for lounging.

Make this outfit up in soft flannel, or brushed cotton for winter. For summer use, silk, satin cotton or rayon. Modern synthetics will work perfectly.
