Old 1920's - 1930s Cloisonne Bangle Bracelet Flowers and BIRD Superb

Dating from the late 1920s to the mid 1930s, this vintage cloisonne bangle has all the hallmarks of fine, old oriental construction: fine brass wire, richly blended enamel work and the all-telling vent holes on the inside.

The gorgeous display of color is done in shades of green, pinks, rusty red, white and of course blue for the little red eyed bird.

The slender brass wires are filled with a lush display of color on a classic black field. The images of flowers, and foliage are beautifully done. There is even a little bird among the blossoms!

The interior surface is a rich blue, solid enamel, a hallmark of genuine, OLD cloisonne bangles.. The edges are brass. There are two tiny vent holes on the inside. Vent holes were necessary in the firing process to allow gasses to escape in these hollow bracelets.

Later bracelets do not have this critical detail of construction.

The bracelet is 2 & ½ inches across the opening. It is ½ inch TALL with a very nice, pronounced dome. The bracelet is in ABOVE EXCELLENT condition. There is no damage.
