Amazing length of vintage cold spun rayon fabric. A full 10 yards long and 36 inches from finished selvage to finished selvage.
Dating from the late 30s to mid 40s, this is silky drape loving fabric.
The black field is printed with small flowers in pink, rose, periwinkle and white with mint green leaves. There is a quarter in some of the pictures so you can have some size perspective of the print. I have shown this draped and pinned on my mannequin so you can see how it flows and drapes.
There is enough material here for an evening gown, dresses, multi piece ensembles, wide leg palazzo pants and long jacket. Ideas are endless.
It is very rare to find this much MINT CONDITION, vintage rayon in one continuous length. This is a bargain price for such a LONG length. It is stunning.
This listing is for the entire 10 yards.
Please, see my other listings for more fabrics and textiles from this life time collection; cotton, rayon and blends that date from 1900 to 1990. She hoarded lace, quilting fabric and supplies. This woman really believed in the mantra "she who dies with the most fabric wins." She was the winner.
