A Wonderful Early 20th Century Plumptious Apple Pincushion - image 1 of 3

A really lovely and plumptious apple pincushion dating to the early 20th century. It is made from red/russet velvet fabric
with various shading just like a real apple. There are two stiffened fabric leaves and even a faux stalk. It really is one of the
most lifelike pincushions of this form that I have seen. The colouring is very Autumnal.

It stands 2.5" high(without the leaves and stalk) and has a diameter of approximately 11". There are a couple of pearl headed
pins in the pincushion.

A charming and useful sewing item.
