1950's Masket Bros. Black Circle Skirt With Ribbon And Braid Details

This is a beautiful circle skirt from the 1950's. The label Masket Bros. was carried at higher end stores such as Lord & Taylor. A skirt such as this one could have retailed for around $50.00. The skirt is made out of a black taffeta like material. Inset into the front is an area of netting on which has been applied black braiding and ribbon details. The skirt fastens at the waist with hooks and eyes. The bottom of the skirt around measures 120". The label inside the waistband reads "Inseparables By Raissa Masket Masket Bros." Excellent condition with no holes or missing details.
