John Brown Pen - Victorian

The striking 1" high carving atop this 8 1/2 long (faux bamboo) dip pen is of the great American abolitionist John Brown, whose body "... lies a-mouldering in the grave". This 1900ish carved representation features Brown's distinctive side-burns, his penetrating and protruding eyes (in glass) and his simple green banded cap; all creatively executed. Condition excellent. Worldwide insured air shipping included in list price. Nothing else to pay.
